Architectural Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt

Discover the architectural wonders of your very own neighborhood.

Liven up your next walk around the block by discovering the design elements of your surroundings! Each week, the American Institute of Architects leads children and families in a scavenger hunt for different architectural elements around their own neighborhoods. With each element, the AIA gives children specific guidelines to follow in order to learn more about the fences, windows, doors, and columns just around the corner.

Click here to visit the website and learn more about the scavenger hunt! Be sure to post your photos and text on Instagram using #huntingfences and #aiadc. Tag @DistrictArchCenter and encourage friends to participate!
