Our mission at Explore! Sandbox is to create a centralized online resource for parents that encourages exploration through activities that cater to children’s individual interests, regardless of race, gender, creed, sex, disability, or national original. The reality is, today, not all children are given the same opportunities or access to explore the world around them, their interests, and their communities due to the systemic racism that pervades our country. While perhaps challenging and difficult, it is necessary to talk to our children about race and racism.

Watch the videos below for read alouds of books that address race and racism for children.
